Jump right in with A Grade Ahead’s 5th grade English enrichment classes. A five-step research writing process introduces students to grammar basics and reading strategies, while also allowing students to begin building their composition skills. Our curriculum includes language arts topics such as:
- Correct use of parts of speech
- Expanding and varied knowledge
- Composing extended responses
- Writing essays and letters
- Figurative language
- Poetry
5th grade English students receive weekly work that will focus on vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension on writing.
