A Grade Ahead’s 1st grade math enrichment classes introduce day-to-day mathematical concepts and topics. Students will learn methods to solving real-life mathematical problems in our 1st grade curriculum and pave the path to a successful academic career. The curriculum expands on our mathematical concepts from Kindergarten and includes, but is not limited to:
- Time-saving skills & strategies
- Story problems
- Mental math
- Concepts of measurement
- Concepts of time
- Numerical proficiency and strategies
