Science Enrichment
4th Grade Science Classes
Applying scientific thinking across Earth science, physical science, and life science — building real-world reasoning skills through 16 weeks of focused enrichment.
Apply scientific thinking to the world.
With the 4th grade science activities, students will begin with an accelerated scientific method introduction through exploration and inquiry-based learning. When presented a real-life problem, students will learn how to think scientifically to reach a conclusion and gain support. Students in our enrichment science program will work through a series of Earth, physical, and life sciences where they will apply their scientific thinking skills. Through this content, 4th grade students will learn about:
- Earth’s landforms and its cycles
- Energy and electricity
- Ecosystems and life cycles
Students will also learn inquiry-based learning skills, such as:
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow explicit directions
- Investigation techniques
Don’t forget, your child can begin the curriculum at any time throughout the year. Start learning today!
